June 2008 - Present Day

My current bike is a BMW R1200 GS Adventure (2008 model).
A beautiful bike. It's sort of the Landrover discovery of the biking world. It's classed as a "Enduro tourer", meaning that it's a touring bike that's capable of tackling off-road as well.
It's a real change from the last bike (the Bandit), but is a bike I've wanted to own ever since I got into Biking.
I'm not planning to go round the world alla Charley and Ewan (to be honest this really isn't the bike of choice for doing things like that anyway), this is simply a bike that actually looks like a bike when I sit on it (I'm a big lad ok).
The sort of bike that was built take to take the sort of punishment I tend to inflict on bikes. It'll do it all without flinching. It's got quite a meaty engine that gives a nice kick of acceleration, has a huge fuel tank (about 32 litres) and is incredibly comfortable. I took it down to the Black Sea last summer and never once had a sore arse like I used to get on the Bandit.

July 2005 - June 2008

My first bike was a Suzuki Bandit 1200 GSF. A very nippy bike that had a kick on it like a mule.
